  1. Hi. We would love to perform at your porch at 2pm. We have some other amazing musician friends who will also be in touch.

    1. Thank you for this info. We might be looking for slightly larger groups. Would your amazing musician friends be joining you, potentially?

  2. Hi there!
We would love to perform on your porch at 3 pm. We are Kindred Road (acoustic, singer-songwriter, harmonies, 2-person band)

    1. Thank you for this info. We might be looking for slightly larger groups. Might you team up with another duo or trio?

  3. Hi! The Heather Mumford Project (5 people, Americana/Country/Bluegrass/Blues) is looking for a porch to perform on. Please let me know if you are still looking for performers; I’d be happy to discuss whether we could be a good fit for you. Cheers! Heather

    1. I would love to hear more about your group, as the size sounds great and the genre would be a welcome mix. Please be in touch with any links or band info.

  4. Hello! I’m in a rock trio with two other Arlingtonians called Monotony Rocks, and we are seeking a porch to perform on. If you are still looking for a band for any of these time slots, please let me know 🙂

      1. Thanks for your inquiry and I apologize for the lateness of my comment – I assumed I would get some notification from the website.
We don’t currently have any recordings or online presence – this will be our first live performance as a group, though every member of this ensemble has been playing their respective instrument for over a decade, both solo and in ensembles.
We’re planning a set largely focused on minimalist rock music in the vein of bands such as Can, NEU! Joy Division and others, but we’re not planning to restrict ourselves to any specific genre.
We will mainly be playing drums, keyboards, and bass, we can bring our own amplifiers, microphones and drum kit or share others’ if that is preferable for set changeover. The only thing we will really need is access to power and a PA/mixer for our three vocal mics.
Hope this is helpful! Thanks for reaching out.

          1. Happy to offer you the 5pm slot and access to electrical power. However, I do not have a PA/mixer. Will that be any problem?

  5. Hi, I am interested in having my band Captain Easychord play at your porch. We are a four piece band that plays original (and some covers of) melodic rock with infectious choruses. We have music posted on our Bandcamp, Reverberation and YouTube accounts for your consideration. Additionally, I play in my friend’s band Butterscott, which is a five piece band that plays original quirky pop rock. They have music posted on their Bandcamp page. Contact person for Butterscott is Jonathan Pressman, who is also an Arlington resident. His email is jpressman63@gmail.com

    1. Hello, Tom! I would love to have Captain Easychord play on the porch. Could I slot you for a 3pm timeslot? Likewise, I will reach out to Butterscott to see if they would also like the 4pm. Thank you!

      1. Thank you so much! Any way possible we could switch time slots so Butterscott plays at 3pm and Captain Easychord at 4pm? There are two members who have later engagements with other bands. The drummer for Butterscott needs to leave by 4pm and the guitarist for Captain Easychord (and Butterscott) needs to leave by 5pm.

        1. That’s no problem by me. Consider the two slots swapped — I just need the Porchfest techs to adjust it. Basically your two bands have the 2-hour 3-5 block.
