  1. Hi,
I didn’t know if you were booked yet, but my band, Poor Yorick, is looking for a porch to play on. We do rock covers and a few originals. We’d love to play for 2 hours. We arrive on time, clean up after ourselves, and are responsible adults. Here’s a video of playing a few years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPSzr_3rcj8. I think we’d prefer the 2-4 slot, but are flexible. Take Care, Dave Nichols

    1. Hi Dave & band, one thing for you to consider- it is our tradition to host porchfest as a birthday bash for our 3 kids summer birthdays (this year they are turning 5, 7, and 9) and we invite their full classes+families to stop by and enjoy the band along with drinks & popsicles. We definitely don’t want “kids music” & we have a designated adult to coordinate/prioritize the band, but there WILL be a lot of kids around, and one request for Happy Birthday song.

  2. Hi there, this is Diego, bass and leader of The Newtalians. We’d love to play at your porch — I used to live next door, in Windsor St. Our music covers a variety of genres (ska, reggae, bossa-nova, pop rock) and is very engaging to adults and children. We can do “Happy birthday” and we even have a couple of Italian cartoon theme songs in our program 🙂

You can listen to our music here https://soundcloud.com/newtalians/albums and watch some videos here https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMFrY1Wq0BQgfpZbGP0RcM8mucQ8OvMDB

Hope to hear from you soon!

    1. Thanks for your interest newtalians, I went with “first come first serve” and have booked another band but I’m sure you will find a porch! Best, Kelly

  3. We love a young crowd. Our singer and guitarist have a 6 year old. And a “Happy Birthday” song would be easy enough.

    1. OK PoorYorick this sounds like a match! I can schedule you for the 2:00 and 3:00 slots (2-4) @ 35 Cleveland St. Thanks!
