Sweetbrier is Brad Meyer and Amy Lohman, both of Lincoln.
We have been performing together for about 12 years, and have for six years running played at the Brookline porchfest, where we typically do a two-hour afternoon set that draws and keeps a good crowd. (Names of our hosts on request.) Brad sings and plays guitar; Amy sings, plays guitar and keyboards. Our material is varied, including old-timey tunes, a few ballads from the modern bluegrass and country traditions, some of Amy’s originals, and a mix of singer-songwriter stuff by people we know (Cosy Sheridan, Mark Stepakoff, Tom Rush) and people we admire from afar.
