Hello! I’m an Arlington resident performing as Six String Theory, a solo acoustic guitar and vocal act. I play a crowd-pleasing mix of covers spanning multiple decades (60s to 2000s) and genres—everything from folk and classic rock to alternative and international favorites.
I’m looking for a porch to host me and would love to have the opportunity to share the music with the neighborhood for this wonderful event.
Are you still looking for a performer at 12:00? Let me know. The band is Colleyospin; we do a mix of American Songbook tunes, Child ballads, American folk tunes, on acoustic guitar, mandolin, clarinet and piano (though no piano likely for this gig).
Yes, the noon slot is open and we would be happy to have you perform. We block the street and create a cluster with 8 stages for musicians and dancers. In previous years, we have been the “go-to” area in Arlington attracting 250+ folks, more each year.
The name of your band with a description of your music would be listed on, colorful PorchFest maps along Bartlett Ave. and 130 flyers that will be distributed to neighbors.
A buffet lunch, snacks and drinks will be available on my deck, 60 Bartlett from noon until 4pm. Some performers sit at tables and chat, others “grab-and-go.” Often there is a pop-up jam with other musicians.
