
Linda Marks is a multi-award winning Boston-based singer songwriter, a healer at heart, known for lyric-driven social impact songs with singable, heartfelt melodies complimented by her clear, warm, expressive voice. Often compared to Carole King for her heartfelt piano-based songwriting and intimate storytellings, Joni Mitchell for her emotional honesty and lyrical depths, and Norah Jones for her smooth, jazz-influenced phrasing and soothing vocal tone, her music leaves the listener with a feeling of peace and hope.
Linda has released 16 studio albums which have received enthusiastic reviews and charted on Roots Music Reports Folk and Alternative Folk Charts and the FAI Folk Chart. Her 2025 studio album The Silence Of The Stars was submitted to the 68th Grammys for Folk Album, won the Best Folk Album in the 2026 World Entertainment Awards and won Global Music Awards for lyrics and songwriting and social impact.. Her 16th studio album, Queen of the Angels, released March 6, 2026, has already yielded award winning songs and phenomenal reviews.. She performs regularly in venues large and small, has appeared on many radio and tv shows, and performed for 6 years in a weekly livestream born of the pandemic. Her music has been covered in the Boston Globe, Boston Magazine and on NPR. Linda is a Voting Member of the Recording Academy and the leader of the International Singer Songwriter Association (ISSA) Boston/Northeast Chapter.
