  1. Violabajo is punk trio made up of Viola, Bass and Drums (no guitars). JaimeNe and B. is a folk duo. (We are a 2 for 1 package). We are looking for a 5pm slot. We need electricity for the bass at the very least (but would happily make use of a PA if there is one provided for vocals).

    Thanks!

    1. Hi Brian-

I am a multi-award winning piano playing singer songwriter who writes and sings uplifting songs from the heart. I would love to play your porch in the 5 pm slot if it is still available.

My 15th studio album, The Silence Of The Stars will have its album release concert at the Burren on July 6.

Here is a song from the album:

    2. You’re all set, Brian! I’ve booked you for 5pm, and there will be electricity provided (as well as water and restrooms, as needed). However, the previous group will likely be running until 4pm, so allow time for any transition/set up you need.

      1. Sorry for the confusion. I had also inquired about booking at another Palmer Street address and had cancelled with them but I must have mixed them up with you. My band is confirmed to play across town at a location closer to our band member’s home. I apologize for the confusion and am sorry to be unable to make your booking.

  3. Hey there, my name is Michael aka Mike Bhaiya (prounced Bye-Uh) and I’m a rapper and activist based in JP and Watertown. I have uplifting dancy pop tunes and some deeper more introspective and lyrical songs. I’m a former music teacher and mentor and I currently work in police reform for the city of Boston. I’d love to add to the vibe and energy at your porch.

Thank you so much for hosting.

    With Light,

    Michael

    1. Mike, I believe we can accommodate you! However, you’re not currently listed in the PorchFest system as being available for a 5pm slot. Could you adjust that so I might add you?

  4. Hi! We are a local a cappella group in search of a porch to perform on. Our repertoire consists of contemporary pop, indie, rock, and R&B such as Radiohead, Maggie Rogers, Daniel Caesar, etc. We have about 13 members who can attend that day, but obviously don’t need any space for instruments – just our members and a couple of microphones.

We can either do a longer ~60 min set, or if you are comfortable we can do a shorter 30-40 min set and invite a second a cappella group to open for us.

Please email us at thecontemporaries.acappella@gmail.com if you’d like to connect!
