  1. Hi there, this is Diego, bass and leader of The Newtalians. We’d love to play there! I used to live a few streets over (Windsor St) and would really enjoy being back.

Our band covers very popular Italian classics, but in fresh interpretations ranging from ska to reggae, bossa-nova, pop rock.

You can listen to our music here https://soundcloud.com/newtalians/albums and watch some videos here https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMFrY1Wq0BQgfpZbGP0RcM8mucQ8OvMDB

Hope to hear from you soon!

  2. Hi – I’m writing to see if you’d like to have Fretbox Trio play at your place for Porchfest. You can look us up on the Porchfest band page (and may have heard us live BC – Before Covid), but here’s the short version. Fretbox Trio is a multigenerational band that has performed at numerous venues around Boston for eight years. We have three albums of original tunes available on Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, etc. and describe our music as vocal-centric, blues-inflected pop rock. Our live performances are fun and dynamic and we add in some covers and medleys because, well, folks like ‘em. We have an excellent sound system which is perfect for outdoor venues and hope to use it for a 2-hour set from 2 to 4 (more music, less setup and breakdown.) We’d love to do it on your “porch.”

  3. Hello! This is Cameron from Magnificent Danger, a 15-piece brass band of seasoned performers from the Boston area that specializes in playing music from video games and anime. With our own arrangements, we put a new spin on familiar tunes from your past to give them a fresh, modern edge. Would you be interested in hosting our brass band? We are open to any time slot except for 2pm.

If you would like to hear a sample of our playing, take a look at our EPK attached below. We would love to hear from you!

  4. Hi! This is Jen from the Soundbites a cappella group. I lived in Arlington Center 2000-2018 so I know your street well. We’d love to sing on your porch anytime between 1-5pm. We are a co-ed adult a cappella group that sings an eclectic repertoire–from pop to doo-wop to Broadway. We performed at the Melrose and Natick Porchfests in 2021. While we rehearse in Lexington, our approx. 15 members hail from all over the Boston area. See below for song clips.

  5. Greetings,
If you’re still looking for musicians, we’d like to discuss volunteering at your location. We’re able to perform a 1 or 2 hour slot. Please review our details and info here but you can also stream examples of our published work on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc. by simply searching for our artist names “izii & elita starr” or record label “outahit records”.
    Give thanks,

  6. Hi, my name is Austin Bullock and I’m part of a duo that would love to play your location for Arlington Porchfest. I will be playing acoustic guitar and singing and have a drummer. We are planning to do a stripped down, acoustic-style set and can amplify the guitar/vocals if you’d like. I have all my own gear, we have a quick and easy set up, and we play a mix of rock, blues, indie/alternative rock. Please check out my website austinbullock.com, my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/austin_is_bullock/, and my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLq-KrnlCHlM7x3xTU-GSetuhZ_MsiDzfq to get an idea of what we play. Thanks for your consideration!

  7. Hi. My band, Jam Sandwich, (www.jamsandwichrockband.com) is a family friendly classic rock cover band (Elvis, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Tom Petty, etc) that is looking for a porch to play on. We typically play for 2+ hours so could take the 2-4 PM slots if that works for you. Thanks. Rich, Jam Sandwich Band. 978-764-4661

  9. Hi – We’re Jeff and Kathy, a.k.a. “Antarctica”. We perform popular 60s and 70s Pop covers (Jeff plays Keyboards, Kathy sings), and are in search of a porch. We’d ideally like a 1pm, 2pm or 3pm slot and would prefer 2 hours. You can check us out at http://antarcticaband.com. Please let us know if you’d like us on your porch. Thanks!

  10. Hi! My band Lampyridae would love to play at your porch! We are a Boston-based trio performing all original compositions influenced by various Celtic styles. Our unique sound is a blend of up-beat fiddle tunes, beautiful sounding harmonies, intricate arrangements, and odd rhythms. Instruments featured are the fiddle, cello, piano, mandolin, guitar, recorder, and occasional vocals (and bass guitar coming soon!)

We can do any time slot and currently have enough music for a 1-1.5 hr set. We often play acoustic, but also have our own sound system and can use that if needed.

  11. Hi – Thanks for booking us for the 2-4 slot. We will be there!. Also, thanks for confirming that you will provide a tent over your porch as protection from the elements (hot sun, or sprinkles, etc). Looking forward to it!
