Hi I’m a traditional oil painter based in Arlington and think it could be quite fun to paint at a porch and possibly display some if they want?
I do would plan to setup and paint an scene from the day over about 4 hours and could display it after.
Could be purely a noninteractive or could do a demo or something about some of the plein air oil painting process.
Don’t need a ton of space but shade doesn’t hurt, otherwise I have everything I need to paint for the afternoon.
Let me know if you think it would be a good fit. I’m looking forward to taking part this year if you’ll have me. Also a card carrying ACA member.

Thanks! The composition will generally strike me in the moment so can’t guarantee it would be OF the porch I’d be but it would certainly be from the place I’m at in the moment.
I’ll add in some details which may be helpful.
The plan would be to paint for around 4 hours and then it could I guess be displayed on the end. Course if I chatted to too many people that might effect the timing of execution. But I think it could be fun at a minimum for everyone 🙂

Hi, if you don’t have a porch yet, you are welcome to paint at Calvary Church, 300 Mass Ave. Bands will be playing on our terrace but we also have a front porch facing Mass Ave that will be shaded.
