    AUNT MIMI is an up-tempo, acoustic guitar duo performing pop hits with a rock edge. We cover material from the present decade to as early as the 1950s — from the Avett Brothers and Guster to the Kinks and the Everly Brothers. We combine harmony singing, varied guitar arrangements, and a wide range of styles in a way that keeps audiences listening and anticipating the next tune. Aunt Mimi’s overall sound incorporates American rock ballads, British pop, and country.

Put it into a pot of cover tunes from the last century. Spice with plenty of harmony vocals and add anoriginal or two. That’s Tail – rootsy, acoustic, and pleasant.What to expect?     We are a group of ukulele players who meet together in the Community Room of the Robins Library, on the 1st, 3rd and 5th  Wednesdays of each month.  Our sound features the music of acoustic, wood ukuleles of all sizes (soprano, concert, tenor and bass).  We play an assortment of tunes, from the 1920’s through the 1970’s, in a wide variety of styles from country to rock.
