School of HONK is a radically inclusive brass band and all ages music school, powered by volunteer mentor musicians and popular dance tunes from around the world. Inspired by the spontaneous, collective imagination unleashed by our hometown HONK! Festival, as well as the rich and diverse post-colonial tradition of peoples’ brass bands, we take our moves and grooves to the streets every Sunday afternoon — to have fun, embolden our neighbors, and help band our community together.

We are hosting a porch at the Lesley Ellis school in Arlington and are looking for a band for the 4-5pm slot. We will have many people, as it is part of an admissions event for our school. I am hopeful that you will be able to join us. Thank so much!
