9lb Hamster is an acoustic trio heavily, and I mean heavily, rooted in bluegrass, but they also bring their own version of singer-songwriter, country, and the blues to the mix. Tim Hedlund (banjo), Greg Lindquist (mandolin), and Dan Holabaugh (guitar), will be performing some olde-time favorites, as well as a few saucy original tunes. Each will take a turn belting out their greatest rendition of Bill Monroe stuck in an elevator with Lyle Lovett while the ghost of Hank Williams (Sr. only, no Jr. here, for the love of all that’s music) drinks them under the table, and Doc Watson shows up to give them all a lift home.
No socials or media available at this time. The band is currently working on their Myspace page, and hopes to have it done at some point before the apocalypse, although that now kind of feels like we’re behind schedule.
