Now that our Porchfest Organizers have sent out the schedule, it’s time to start getting down to details for Porchfest 2017!

If you are a musician, please reach out to your hosting porch.  If you are a host, please reach out to the bands performing on your porch.  It’s the perfect time to start ironing out some details and make sure everyone is on the same page.

Make sure the band understands your porch’s set up… Is up 15 steps?  Can the porch fit all nine band members?  Is there electricity available?  How many outlets are needed?  Do you need to be able to access the front door during performances?

Make sure your porch host knows what your band needs… How long does it take to set up?  How long do you need to tear down between sets?  Are you planning a tip jar?  Can you share a drum kit with the band before you in order to save time?

Many of these details will be different for every band and for every porch, so please be in contact with your porchfest partners!
