Santosha Band

Santosha (meaning “being in contentment”) is a 5-member kirtan band from the Boston-area featuring vocals, harmonium, flute or cello, guitar, piano, percussion and kartals.  Santosha plays a mix of traditional and original kirtan chants and arrangements, in English and Sanskrit, offered in a relaxed and interactive call and response manner with the audience.  Our music is upbeat and rejuvenating as well as soothing and meditative.  Great for the whole family.  Santosha has performed at Somerville Porchfest, Life Alive Restaurant, DevotionFest, I-Opener Dance Boston and other venues.  We hope you’ll join us for a time of peace and renewal as we sing and chant together in community with each other.
